We have two service times. Our first service is at 8:45 am and
our second service is at 10:30 am. We encourage those with
children and youth to attend the 10:30 service at which time we
have full children and youth programs.
The Church at Sun Valley meets at Festival Foothills Elementary
School (26252 W. Desert Vista Blvd). Congregational worship is
in the gym, and the children and youth meet in building C at the
back of the school. Parking is available on the NW and NE sides
of the building. If you have any questions upon arrival, ask a
greeter and they’ll be glad to help you!
At the 10:30 service We have a full children and youth program.
Our nursery workers love to care for little ones. Our Children’s
Ministry workers teach children Biblical principles that will equip
them for life and provide them every opportunity to grow closer to
God while doing it in a fun and interactive way. Our youth
workers guide the youth into discussions on the Biblical way to
live and think.
At the 8:45 service we currently provide nursery care, and care for
young children up to the age of 10.
Our services are informal in atmosphere since we meet in an
elementary school gym, but in function, like most worship services
have music, message and ministry time. You can find a full

Many people comment that attending one of our services is like
visiting a good friend’s home. They feel welcomed, relaxed, and
part of a larger family. Come early, because we even have treats
at the back!
During our service we focus on worshipping God. We desire that
throughout our service each person has an opportunity to sing
praises, hear the truth of His word, and have an opportunity to
respond to God. We want everyone to leave encouraged and
edified because we know it is not about us and all about Him!
Casual clothes are the norm at The Church at Sun Valley. For
example, people are encouraged to wear shorts during the
summer and whatever is comfortable for them during the rest of
the year. So feel free to leave the suit and tie at home!
The weekend services at The Church at Sun Valley typically last
about an hour.
Though non-traditional in style, The Church at Sun Valley is
deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith.

Therefore we tend to focus our energy on discipling our family to
live out our faith in a way that is both Kind and Biblical. We want
others to see God’s love and truth through our lives.
