My Family: I’ve been married for 42 years to Jack. We have 4 kids: 3 girls and 1 boy -in that order! We now have 9 grandchildren! Our family lives in the Northwest (Washington and Oregon). Our son is a police officer in Wenatchee, Washington, one daughter owns and operates a Salon in Redmond, Oregon, one is a front-end manager for a large PCC grocery store and then our second born daughter is privileged to get to support her husband as he’s an engineer and is part owner of a growing Land Development Co. as she carpools their kids to different schools.
My Story: I was born in Washington, living there my entire life till 7 years ago. Am loving the sunshine! I came to know the Lord and received Him as my Savior at a neighborhood Vacation Bible school at the age of 6 or 7. I grew up in Sunday school by the invitation of a neighbor family. I attended this little church on Sundays, going to AWANA, a Christian program for children on Wednesday night and then youth group as a teenager. This is where I met my husband. He was my High School Sunday School Teacher and assisted in the Youth Programs.
I was always privileged to be a stay at home mom for our 4 kids, plus I got to have my 2 nephews in our home from 6 am – 5 pm each weekday. Made some great memories with these young men!
It was during these years, I learned to volunteer. I taught Sunday School and or directed the children’s department for 14 years. I also worked in Women’s Ministry, leading Bible Study groups, helped plan and execute Women’s Retreat weekends and anything else that might come up. One of my favorite activities was to lead a monthly night for our Pastor’s wives and do something “unique” each month to “spoil them”. We had 12-15 ladies each month. So Fun!
Something Most People Don’t Know: I drive a Dodge Ram 4×4 truck with pipes, sun roof, and the biggest tires my husband will let me have.

Besides the Bible, My Recommended Reading Would Be: Mostly I just read Bible Study material, or Books on Heaven and How to have better Health.
I’m Most Excited About: Watching Women’s Ministry grow here at CSV. Putting together different programs and events to bring out more ladies to encourage a strong walk with the Lord. Encouraging ladies to use the gift God has given them.
