CSV's AWANA program is underway, but it's never too late to join! AWANA is a midweek program held on Thursday evenings for kids/teens ages 2-18 offering Bible lessons, games and breakout groups.
This highly respected program seeks to reach kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love, and serve Jesus. An evening AWANA is comprised of three parts to maximize children’s attention and energy, including games, Bible time, and small group discussions. The Church at Sun Valley offers six AWANA clubs for children of all ages. Each child uses their own age-specific handbook to learn Scripture verses, Bible truths, and how to navigate the Bible so they can use its teachings for their life. As kids memorize Bible verses and complete lessons in their handbook, they earn awards to signify each mile-marker of progress. AWANA will surely help your children grow in faith and love for God. AWANA is a global, nonprofit ministry that exists in over 30,000 churches around the world.
On this website there are video clips that explain each club's focus
